Using e-cigarettes as a quitting aid
In a previous blog post, we spoke about a recent study on e-cigarette use in the UK. The study found that people are increasingly using e-cigarettes as quitting aids. The study also found that the numbers of ex-smokers who use e-cigarettes is on the increase (12%, up from 7% in 2013 and 4% in 2012).
The most popular reason among survey participants for using e-cigarettes was to “help me to stop smoking entirely”.
This is also Sarah’s reason for using the e-cigarette. As she mentioned in an earlier video blog about switching to e-cigarettes, she has been smoking for over 10 years and wants to quit before her 30th birthday.
